- Participating in group physical activities with peers
- Poor coordination
- Delays with achieving gross motor milestones
- Low muscle tone
- Lack of endurance
- Poor balance and coordination
- Difficulties with motor planning and/or coordination
- Poor body awareness or difficulty navigating their environment (i.e., at home, at a playground, in busy places)
Older children can show similar concerns to toddler or preschool age children. They may also present with:
- Poor posture & difficulty with maintaining seated positions
- Difficulty learning and participating in physical activities (i.e., organized sports, gym class)
